Succeeded on the death of his father Maharaja Brijendra Singh on

08 July 1995.

 

Profession: He is a full time politician.

Was member of the Zila Parishad from 1988 to 1989.

Thereafter member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly (state parliament) from 1989 to 1994.

Got elected to the Lok Sabha (lower house of Indian parliament)

1989 to 1991 and 1999 till date.

 

Interests: Wildlife, squash & tennis.

 

Married 15th February 1989, Maharani Divya Kumari.

She is the daughter of Raja Surendra

Singh Ju Dev of Behri.

 

Educated at Isabella Thorburn College (Lucknow, India) she has a graduate degree in Arts.

 

Profession: Politics.

Was a member of the Zila Parishad. Later got elected to the Lok Sabha (lower house of Indian parliament) in 1996.

She quit politics to take care of her son.

 

Married 15th February 1989,  Maharaja Vishvendra Singh.
